Upcoming Event

SpaandanB Austin and Bangladesh Association of Greater Austin will host a benefit event for Rohynga on March, 30th, 2019. Four local bands will play at this event. Proceeds from the event will go to benefit the Rohynga refugees living in Bangladesh.

Spaandanb Austin

Established in 2007, SpaandanB Austin, a chapter of SpaandanB, facilitates the local community to initiate, manage and support charitable projects in Bangladesh. It is a nonprofit, charitable organization that supports various education projects in Bangladesh.

Project process

After a project is evaluated by the new project evaluation committee, approved by the Central EC and approved for funding, the project is handed over to the respective sector committee to run the project. The respective committee tries to find donors for the project.

    Project approval

    The respective committee tries to find donors for the project. Each project is supported by
    donations from project donors. Anyone can become a project donor by donating to SpaandanB.

  • Step Three

    Monitor the progress

    SpaandanB monitors the project, reviews progress and reports back to the donors. If progress
    is acceptable, SpaandanB funds the project further and helps it to grow.

  • Step Four

    Project Requirements

    Projects must be related to the health, development, or education sectors. Projects must benefit the needy people in Bangladesh.Projects must be organized and operated by a trustworthy individual, group or NGO.
