Project Description:
In addition to many natural calamities, Bangladeshis are frequently hit by man-made calamities like violence, fire, displacements etc.
76 destitute families in Noakhali and Lakshmipur were affected by such calamity. 52 houses were looted and destroyed. These families lost everything and direly in need of assistance. Local and Government assistance is far from sufficient.

As part of its “Stand By You” emergency projects, SpaandanB Austin partners with Gandhi Ashram Trust of Noakhali to help rebuild some of the houses, latrines and provide necessity kits for the affected families.

We urge you to donate generously to sponsor houses and/or necessity kits for the families.

Sponsor a House: $380
Each house will cost approximately $380 to rebuild. We are trying to raise fund for 52 houses. Please consider sponsoring a house or more. We will send you reports and photos of the house you sponsor.

Sponsor a Necessity Kit: $91
Each necessity kit (Mosquito net, a bag of Rice, Lentil, Oil, Utensil, Educational material) will cost approximately $91 and will support a family for a month. Please consider sponsoring a necessity kit for a family. We will send you reports and photos of the family you sponsor.
