Project Details:

Millions in Bangladesh suffer the cold weather in winter specially those without warm clothes and the elderly. Every year, many organizations in Bangladesh, along with the government, try to provide blankets, sweaters and warm clothes to the underprivileged people. But their help is far from being sufficient.
In an effort to raise fund to provide blankets to the poor, SpaandanB Austin partners with Rotary Club of Dhaka every year and we ask you to sponsor as many blankets as you can to support the cause.

SpaandanB Austin raised nearly $10,000 in previous years for its Winter Blanket project. Hundreds of blankets have been distributed during some of the coldest winter in Bangladesh history through our partner Rotary club of Dhaka in several remote areas. Below are some of our distributions from the past.

2021 Distribution:
100 Blankets: Roumari

2014 Distribution:
300 Blankets: Sirajganj, Char Jadupur- Pabna

2013 Distribution:
335 Blankets: Dhahagram, Patgram, Lalmonirhat

2012 Distribution:
300 Blankets: Roumari, Kurigram, Nagar Bari-Pabna, Rangpur, Faridpur Nagarkanda, Vangura-Sherajganj, Debiganj – Panchagar

2011 Distribution:
400 Blankets: Roumari, Kurigram

2010 distribution:
763 Blankets and 80 Shaal: Rangpur, Rajshahi, Potuakhali, Banderban, Nikonchori, Cox’s Bazar, Nogorbari Chaur

Partner Organization:

Rotary Club of Dhaka, was chartered in February 26th, 1938. The club organizes a winter clothes drive every winter and distributes them in the worst affected areas like Rangpur.
